A very special tour into the Banque de France in Paris

The headquarters of the Banque de France, a former private mansion dating from the 17th century, conceals particularities worthy of consideration and works of art of great interest.

The 40 meters long Galerie Dorée, masterpiece of the Regency style, is adorned with a remarkable decoration of paneling and a frescoed ceiling.

Ten large canvases adorn the walls, painted by the greatest Italian masters of the 17th century.

In 1808, the Banque de France bought and settles at the Hôtel de Toulouse.

Extended and adapted to the constraints linked to its activity, the building is made up of 19th century buildings and a more modern part which houses France’s strategic gold reserves.

The tour also includes the General Council dining and meeting rooms as well as the Antechamber and the salle du Damier, Comte de Toulouse’s former private cabinet.

2hrs Tour in English 30€/person.

The meeting is at 9 am outside 2 Place des Victoires
