In the heart of eastern Paris, the tour invites you to discover Nogent sur Marne. This tour will take you on a journey through this multi-faceted town.
\nThe history of Nogent sur Marne will first be explored.
\nThe town is famous for the charm of its guinguettes, which delighted Parisians over half a century ago. From the end of the 19th century onwards, many Parisians came to recharge their batteries in what was then still a rural area on the outskirts of Paris.
\nThis period will be recalled on the banks of the Marne, with its soothing atmosphere, between bustling port and opulent homes. Along the way, a number of unusual sites will be revealed, including the Russian pavilion, which took its place at the Paris World’s Fair in 1878.
