Understanding Migration, Cultural Diversity and Discrimination. This tailor-made experience explores the history and contemporary realities of immigration and cultural diversity in France. Students discover historic migrant neighborhoods, explore local markets and food traditions, visit community organizations and the Institute of Islamic Cultures, and meet an association working against racism and discrimination. The program combines urban exploration, cultural experiences and discussions with local organizations, giving students the opportunity to examine questions of migration, identity, integration and diversity through the Parisian context.

Comparing healthcare system in France and the United States. This educational experience was designed for students interested in understanding how healthcare systems function in France and how they compare with the United States. Students meet healthcare and social-service professionals, visit a hospital and a community café, and explore a Paris neighborhood to better understand how different populations, including immigrants and foreign residents, navigate access to healthcare and social services. This tour allows students to connect social policy and healthcare theory with real-life experiences in Paris.

This educational experience examines how social workers navigate religious and cultural differences while respecting the principles of neutrality and equality within public services. Students discover how laïcité influences social services, healthcare and education, and explore the challenges of supporting diverse communities while maintaining professional and ethical boundaries. The tour also encourages intercultural exchange, allowing students to compare French approaches with those of their own countries and reflect on social inclusion, cultural identity and community relations.
