Come and walk into the path of the French Revolution from Bastille square to the heart of the Marais.
A few cornerstones and historical plaques help understand where the infamous prison stood before it was stormed on July 14th 1789. The walk will then review places and buildings related to the events leading to the end of the Ancien Regime.
The Marais, located between Bastille and the Hôtel de Ville got intimately linked to the Revolution with its beautiful mansions emptied from their aristocratic owners.
The tour will also highlight the collections displayed at musée Carnavalet, recently reopened after 5 years closure.
